Shopping for a vehicle should be fun and rewarding, but all too often, it becomes a hassle and can leave you feeling overwhelmed or lost among too many options. When you work with the right dealership, everything becomes much easier since you have people who will listen to you, answer your questions, and make sure you get a great vehicle. If you’re looking for a small or midsize SUV, then the Chevy lineup has an incredible selection of models for you to choose from. Before you look at Chevy SUVs for sale, however, it’s a good idea to look at what’s available and get a sense of what each model offers.

Today, we’re going to help you with that by taking you through Chevy’s selection of subcompact, compact, and midsize SUVs to see what each brings to the road. We won’t look at the two largest models, both full-size options, but instead focus on those that are a bit easier to fit into any lifestyle. Most of these are two-row vehicles with seating for five passengers, but Chevy offers a three-row midsize SUV, too, so stick around if you have a growing family and need more seats. Now let’s take a look at what Chevy has going on.

2024 Chevy Trax – Small and Stylish

To kick things off, we have the Chevy Trax, one of our favorite picks for anyone looking for something small yet highly functional. It’s easy to think that a small vehicle has to also be small on features, but the Trax is the perfect way to disprove that. This is particularly true for 2024 since Chevy has reinvented the subcompact Trax and made it better than ever. For starters, you have an impressive 1.2L Turbo engine that provides 137 hp and a fun experience every time you get behind the wheel.

Inside the 2024 Trax, you’ll find a beautifully appointed interior with a terrific combination of comfort and tech features. An 8.0-inch Infotainment display is standard, for example, with a gorgeous 11-inch screen in many models, with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Similarly, many Trax models include push-button start, wireless phone charging, and automatic climate control. Cruise control is standard, with adaptive cruise control available. You also get the Chevy Safety Assist package of driver assist features standard on every model, giving you Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and more.

2024 Chevy Trailblazer – Refined and Sporty

If the Trax isn’t quite right for you, but you want a small Chevy SUV, then the Trailblazer is a great one to check out. This subcompact model is very similar in size to the Trax, though it has some different features worth pointing out. To start, the Trailblazer has the same 1.2L Turbo engine standard, but there’s a 1.3L Turbo with 155 hp available if you’re looking for something with a bit more pep to it. Numerous trims are available for the Trailblazer: the ACTIV gives light off-road features, and the RS brings sleek street styling.

A beautiful 11-inch Infotainment display is standard in the 2024 Trailblazer, with an 8.0-inch Driver Information Center screen to go along with it. For this model year, Chevy has also updated the exterior looks of different Trailblazer models, giving each trim a distinct design with fresh lighting and grille designs. Chevy Safety Assist is standard on the Trailblazer, ensuring you and your loved ones are safe, plus you get more than 54 cu.ft. of total cargo space inside.

2024 Chevy Equinox – Exciting and Comfortable

For something a bit larger, without going up to a midsize model, the Chevy Equinox is a compact SUV that’s beautifully spacious and nicely appointed. One of the most popular compact SUVs, the 2024 Equinox features a 1.5L turbo engine with 175 hp, ensuring it’s quite fun to drive. Numerous trims are available, including a stylish RS and a luxurious Premier model; you can also get all-wheel drive (AWD) with the Equinox, making it great for dirt and gravel roads or getting to your favorite campsite.

Most models feature a power rear liftgate for easy access to the interior, with a hands-free version standard on the Premier trim. An 8.0-inch Infotainment display, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, is standard on most models. The Premier trim has a wireless phone charger, plus heated rear seats to accompany the heated front seats and steering wheel found on many models. Once again, Chevy Safety Assist is standard on the Equinox, showcasing Chevy’s commitment to making some of the safest and most reliable vehicles on the road.

2024 Chevy Blazer – Sleek and Exhilarating

If you want a midsize SUV, then the Chevy Blazer is a fantastic place to start; we don’t find many updates for the 2024 model, but that’s because it doesn’t need them. We have two engines here, starting with a 228-hp 2.0L Turbo that’s a blast to drive; for more power, you can choose a 3.6L V6 with 308 hp to really elevate your driving experience. No matter which one you choose, it comes paired with a nine-speed automatic, and you can get AWD for enhanced traction and control in slippery conditions.

Inside the Chevy Blazer, a 10.2-inch Infotainment display is standard, giving you a gorgeous view of your apps or navigation directions. A power-programmable rear liftgate is available, and you can get it hands-free on the highest trims. Plus, you get LED headlamps, taillights, and daytime running lamps. Heated front seats are now standard in the 2024 Blazer for added comfort, plus you can get ventilated seats, memory settings for the driver’s seat, and a wireless phone charger. As expected, Chevy Safety Assist is standard, with available options that include adaptive cruise control, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, and more.

2024 Chevy Traverse – Spacious and Secure

Finally, we come to the Chevy Traverse, a vehicle that’s been growing in popularity lately: a three-row midsize SUV. Since this is still a midsize model, it’s not much larger than the Blazer, but you get a third row of seats in the rear for added passenger capacity. This lets you have up to eight people all pile in, plus a new 2.5L Turbo engine delivers 317 hp for a terrific driving experience.

For the 2024 model year, Chevy has redesigned the Traverse to make it better than ever, including a new Z71 model with enhanced off-road capabilities. The Traverse Z71 has more than one inch of increased ground clearance, all-terrain tires, and twin-clutch AWD for boosted traction out on the trail. Best of all, a stunning 17.7-inch Infotainment display is standard in every Traverse model this year, paired with a remarkable 11-inch Driver Information Center, best-in-class cargo capacity of up to 98 cu.ft, and much more.
