The Chevy SUV Lineup: The Small to Medium Variants

The Chevy Trax is a surprisingly modest-priced, front-wheel drive subcompact SUV that’s extremely fun to drive. Meanwhile, the Chevy Trailblazer is available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive variants. It has a more adventurous aesthetic with its distinct two-tone color options. Speaking to its rugged capabilities, it adds sport-terrain tire options that Trax doesn’t offer. One of its more stand-out features, though, has to be its fold-flat front passenger seat. With that down, plus the rear row down, you unlock serious cargo capabilities.

Moving up a size to a compact SUV, the Equinox boasts sophisticated styling that will fit right in cosmopolitan or professional settings. Available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, several fun trims, and some attractive special editions, it’s a vehicle drivers can truly make their own. Offering more passenger and cargo volume than its subcompact siblings, it’s great for drivers who need to transport five passengers with belongings and who want to give everyone a little extra space.

The Blazer is Chevy’s midsize SUV. It has striking aesthetics, front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations, some solid towing abilities for a five-seat SUV, and a generous amount of rear-passenger room and cargo space. If you want the maximum amount of cargo and passenger room in the five-seater category, consider the Chevy Blazer.

The Chevy SUV Lineup: The Large Models

Drivers who need a larger SUV have many to choose from in the Chevy family. The Chevy Traverse is a three-row SUV with seating for seven or eight, depending on its seating arrangement. Stocked with features that make it great for road trips—like a huge infotainment screen and cargo space—it’s a great adventure vehicle. Plus, you can opt for the off-road-ready Z71 trim if you want to explore rugged terrain.

The Suburban and the Tahoe are Chevy’s serious people haulers. The Suburban boasts configurations for seven, eight, or nine passengers, making it perfect for large families. The Chevy Tahoe can seat seven or eight and has a spacious, comfortable cabin. It shares the same trim and powertrain options as the Suburban, just on a slightly smaller frame. The luxury High Country is one trim these full-size models both have that the smaller ones don’t. Made with beautiful materials and best-in-class comfort and convenience features, it’s excellent for drivers who spend extended time on the road.

Both full-size models offer plenty of ways to orient and fold down seats to create more cargo space when it's needed, as well as rear-wheel or four-wheel drive options to help you cover tons of ground under any conditions.
