Fall Fun at the Annual Lake City Fallfest

The autumn season is one of our favorite times of the year, and there’s no better way to celebrate it than at the Annual Lake City Fallfest, hosted by the Lake Guntersville Merchants Association! This year, on October 13th and 14th, we had the pleasure of being a part of this fantastic event, and it was a weekend filled with fun, festivities, and fall-themed excitement.

Our booth was a big hit at the Fallfest. We set up a charming fall photo prop featuring a truck surrounded by hay and pumpkins, which allowed festival-goers to capture the spirit of the season in their pictures. People of all ages, from kids to grandparents, stopped by to for the opportunity to create memorable photos. The best part? Even a few furry, four-legged friends joined in on the fun, making it an all-inclusive experience!

This year marked the second time we sponsored the tent at the Picnic Area by the food alley, and it was an absolute pleasure. The location allowed us to be at the heart of the festivities, ensuring that everyone who attended could find us easily.

The Fallfest began with a bang on Friday, featuring a fabulous vendor market and a mouthwatering food truck alley. It was a true delight for foodies and shoppers alike. The festival vibe continued into Saturday, offering even more fun with a whole day of free kids’ activities. Some of the highlights included a Kids Costume Contest where little ones donned their Halloween best, competing for the title of the spookiest or most creative costume. There was as spooky Witches and Wizards Parade and Live music performances at Errol Allen Park. And for those seeking a taste of fall, there was Pumpkin Bowling—a unique and entertaining take on the classic game.

Adults had their own special treat with the Beer Garden at Errol Allen Park, complete with a Stein Hoisting Competition. Families also had the chance to participate in the Candy Corn Trail Trunk or Treating, a sweet twist on the traditional Halloween tradition, and kids enjoyed endless hours of bouncing fun on the Bouncy Slide at the Courthouse. Free Snow Cones provided a delightful treat to cool off, and the Choo Choo Train at Guntersville City Hall offered a fun and scenic ride for the kids. It was a weekend packed with a wide array of activities to make the Annual Lake City Fallfest a memorable experience for all who attended.
