Community Engagement: Guntersville Chevrolet’s Oil Changing Demonstration for Greater Etowah 310/Smeltzer Educational Center

This week the Guntersville Chevrolet Service department held an informative session on changing oil for members of the Greater Etowah 310/Smeltzer Educational Center, as a part of their Community Experience (CE) Program.

The participants benefiting from the CE initiative are actively fostering connections within the community. They are also engaged in the process of discovering opportunities for potential employment, volunteering, neighborhood involvement, as well as exploring novel ideas and adventures within the community.

Situated in Gadsden, Alabama, the Greater Etowah 310 Board offers a diverse array of services catering to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Presently, the services provided encompass Facility Day Habilitation, Community Day Habilitation, Community Experience, and Residential Services.
