Since it first hit the road for the 2019 model year, the Chevy Blazer has been a favorite among drivers looking for a sporty and stylish midsize crossover SUV. Now, Chevrolet is taking things further than ever with the all-new, first-ever 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, an all-electric SUV set to blaze a trail like nothing we have seen before. Unmistakably Chevy, the new Blazer EV looks absolutely gorgeous and perfectly fits into the modern Chevrolet lineup while also establishing itself as something remarkable and unique. Whether you are interested in taking your first steps into the all-electric future of the auto industry or you are ready for an EV upgrade, the Chevy Blazer EV is here for you.

Power and performance are at the forefront of the Blazer EV’s design, giving you a driving experience that surpasses most other midsize SUVs—electric or not. The standard LT trim comes with electric all-wheel drive (eAWD) thanks to a pair of motors, while the RS trim is offered with either eAWD or rear-wheel drive (RWD), depending on your preferences. If range is your top concern, then the RS RWD trim is the way to go, thanks to an estimated 324 miles of total range from a full charge. On the other hand, if you are looking for incredible power and performance, then take a look at the Chevy Blazer EV SS trim level, which boasts a remarkable battery and motor system that delivers 557 hp and 648 lb-ft of torque thanks to GM’s Wide Open Watts electric launch control system.

Any Chevy Blazer EV trim you choose is easy to charge, in addition to offering such great range, with support for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 DC Fast Charging. Inside the standard LT trim, you will find a beautifully designed and richly appointed interior featuring a stunning 17.7-inch LCD Infotainment display with Google built-in, plus Evotex seating, an 11-inch Driver Information Center, keyless open, remote start, and more. The Blazer EV RS gets you heated and ventilated front seats, with perforated suede and Evotex seating, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, and much more. This is also one of the safest SUVs on the road thanks to standard Chevy Safety Assist, which includes Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist with a Lane Departure Warning.

  • Performance and Range

For more than a century, Chevy has been making some of the most impressive and powerful vehicles on the road, and the shift to an all-electric future is not about to change that. All the proof of that you need can be found in the all-new Blazer EV and everything it brings to the road. You have quite a few trim levels available to you with the Blazer EV, with different performance and features, so keep that in mind as you consider your options.

The two trim levels initially available for the Chevy Blazer EV are the RS and the LT, which offer similar performance but have some key differences between them. For starters, the LT is only available with eAWD performance, which makes it incredibly fun and rewarding to drive. The RS, however, is offered with either RWD or eAWD, letting you choose the kind of performance and handling you want, as well as the range that suits you best. Either trim with eAWD gets an estimated 279 miles of range from a full charge, while the RS RWD trim can go up to 324 miles from a full charge.

If you want electrified performance taken to the next level, however, you owe it to yourself to check out the incredible Blazer EV SS, Chevy’s first performance-focused SS trim for one of their EVs. This trim level features an exclusive eAWD propulsion system engineered to deliver an incredible 557 hp and 648 lb-ft of torque, allowing for unbeatable performance. With GM’s Wide Open Watts system, the Blazer EV SS can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.0 seconds, with 22-inch wheels that create a bold look and powerful stance. Front Brembo brakes ensure you can safely stop all of this blazing power and stay in control, plus it still gets an estimated 290 miles of range from a full charge.

  • Interior Features and Tech

One of the first things we tell customers interested in any vehicle is to get inside it and see how it feels; you spend most of your time with your vehicle driving it, so you deserve an interior that fits what you are looking for. As an all-new, first-ever model, you would expect the Chevy Blazer EV to deliver a gorgeous interior, but even we were not fully prepared for just how stunning it is. Whether you are all about incredible comfort features, innovative technology, or both, you will find it inside the Blazer EV, though your choice of trim level does make a difference.

Looking at the standard LT trim, you get a stunning selection of impressive features inside to enjoy, ensuring you get the most from every drive. For starters, you will find comfortable Evotex seating that looks gorgeous, feels great, and is environmentally friendly, so you can drive with total peace of mind. Dominating the front of the interior is a gorgeous 17.7-inch advanced color LCD Infotainment screen with Google built-in, joined by a six-speaker sound system and an 11-inch color Driver Information Center display.

Moving up to the RS trim, you get a number of upgrades to take your driving experience even further. For starters, you will find perforated suede/Evotex seating that looks and feels incredibly luxurious, allowing for heated and ventilated front seats. You get an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat and a six-way power front-passenger seat in the RS, plus power lumbar controls for both and a heated, wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel. The RS has a wireless charging pad for compatible devices, dual-zone automatic climate control, and multi-color ambient interior lighting to ensure your Blazer EV is as welcoming as possible.

  • Advanced Safety Technology

When considering any vehicle, nothing is more important than how well it can keep you and your loved ones safe—at the end of the day, that is all that really matters. The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is a fantastic illustration of how safety technology can be done right, giving you a full suite of comprehensive safety features standard on every trim. Every Blazer EV comes with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes a Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking to warn you about a potential crash and help you avoid it. You also get Lane Keep Assist with a Lane Departure Warning, which alerts you if you seem to be drifting from your lane and can actively help keep you in your lane.

Chevy Safety Assist also includes Front Pedestrian Braking, which lets the Forward Collision Warning system detect pedestrians and provide you with extra braking power to avoid someone who has stepped onto the road in front of you. You get a Following Distance Indicator to warn you if you are too close to a vehicle ahead of you, along with IntelliBeam Auto High Beams. This system activates automatically in low light conditions to improve visibility, as well as detect oncoming traffic and deactivate the high beams automatically to avoid blinding other drivers, keeping everyone safer.

If you want to take safety even further, then you have a number of options available to you, such as Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, which can automatically steer, brake, and shift gears to park your vehicle using parallel or perpendicular parking. You can also get GM’s incredible Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system for the 2024 Blazer EV, giving you true hands-free driving. Super Cruise is compatible with more than 400,000 miles of roads across the US and Canada, allowing for tremendous freedom and helping you to stay safe behind the wheel.
